Assassin’s Creed 3 will feature Egypt and Altair’s son
A great many assumptions about the setting of the third part have already been voiced. Including the producers of the game, who are of high importance in the insider league.
Thus, the publication CVG makes the assumption that the setting of one of the games in the franchise will be Egypt. The editors of the magazine came to similar thoughts after familiarizing themselves with the plot of AC: R, in the denouement of which Darim, the son of Altair, reports on the transportation of part of the books from the library of the Order of Assassins to the Library of Alexandria, located precisely in Egypt.
An additional reason for thought may be the concept art of the Egyptian assassin, published on the official Ubi website.com in June 2010. Then the developers directly stated that the art has no connection with the future game. But, as you understand, at that time we were talking about AC: Brotherhood, which was preparing to be released. It is quite possible that Ubisoft will now pull out the old idea from the stash.
Assassins Creed Editorial.Su also suggests that if Egypt appears in any of the parts, it will be in Assassin’s Creed 3. Let us remind you that the third part, according to the developers, should be the final game for Desmond. And since Darim is most likely the hero’s direct ancestor, it is in his memory that Desmond can be immersed through the Animus.
We also recall that Ubisoft has already announced the development of Assassin’s Creed III. And, although the formal announcement should take place shortly before E3 2012, we already know that the game will be released before December 2012.
Ubisoft is conducting a survey on the future time and location of the game Assassin’s Creed III
Empirestategamer received a hint from a reader who, according to him, participated in a survey about the Assassin’s Creed series. Among other interesting questions, gamers were asked about the future location of the new series.
Players were asked where they would like to see the events of Assassin’s Creed III:
In Imperial China
In Victorian England
In Ancient Egypt
In America during the Spanish Conquest
In America, during the battles of the British with the indigenous inhabitants of the continent, during the revolution in the 18th century
In Russia during the overthrow of the tsarist regime by communists
In feudal Japan
In ancient Rome during the reign of Caesar
Ubisoft is tactically keeping quiet about where the franchise’s next installment will go, using market research to gauge fan and gamer opinions. Whether this information is true remains a mystery, and it is unlikely that Ubisoft will confirm or deny the existence of such surveys.
Assassin’s Creed III could be set in Japan
There are a lot of rumors surrounding Assassins Creed III, the latest of which is that the setting will be moved to Egypt, after a small hint of this in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
On the other hand, in the animated series Assassin Creed Ambers, which are included in the special edition of Revelations, a certain character named Shao Jun appears. Among other new heroes of the Assassin’s Creed universe, Shao Jun says that she was a concubine, after which she became an assassin. According to her, Ezio greatly influenced her destiny.
The transfer of the scene to Japan has already been discussed more than once. Be that as it may, Ubisoft is not closing the door to this opportunity.
Assassin’s Creed developers plan to release the last game before December 2012
Eurogamer has unearthed detailed information about the third installation of the franchise – Assassin’s Creed III. According to Alexandre Amacio, if the first part revealed the story of Altair, the second – Ezio, then the third will reveal the story of Desmond. And, apparently, Ubisoft is worried about the end of the world and is in a hurry to please gamers with another series of Assassin’s Creed III.
"In Assassin’s Creed, we started when the world ended in December 2012," says creative director. “This date is quickly approaching, and we just need to get it out there before it actually happens.”.
Ubisoft Montreal has created four major games since Assassin’s Creed debuted in 2007. In 2009, Assassin’s Creed 2 appeared, joined by Brotherhood and the upcoming Revelations.
“We have such a complex and strong storyline that we ourselves are trying our best to release all the games before December 2012,” says Amancio. “It would be stupid of us to move the game into semi-reality and give players the ending after that date arrives in real life.”.
But beyond the resolution of Desmond’s story, Assassin’s Creed is likely to feature a new hero.
“In Assassin’s Creed, everything https://non-uk-casinos.co.uk/irish-casinos-not-on-gamstop/ comes in cycles – we have the Ezio cycle and the Altair cycle, and both of them will end in Revelations. The Desmond cycle will remain, which should be completed by December 2012,” says Amancio. “But the whole point is precisely in several cycles in the entire franchise”.
Be that as it may, Ubisoft Montreal’s desire to release games quickly means that the series is nearing its end.
The plot will be directly related to the Chinese assassin Shao Yun
Before players had time to properly complete the recently released Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, information about the next game in the series, called “Lifelines,” was leaked online. An unknown person, under the nickname DooDoo_F1, introduced himself on the forum of the authoritative publication EDGE as a journalist of a certain famous gaming magazine, who managed to visit the Ubisoft Montreal studio, learn about the new part of the “Assassin saga”, and, moreover, photograph a teaser picture of the game, secretly of course.
The photo is of very low resolution and poor quality, but it clearly shows the logo of the new game and the date – November 21, 2012, with some confidence we can assume that this is the release date of the game, in addition, there are other numbers in the teaser image, this is 12.21.12.21, here, after understanding it a little, it becomes clear that this is the date of the “end of the world” promised to us by the Mayan civilization, but what the last number means – it is not clear what it is? Time? Coordinate? Unknown. As for the theme of the end of the world, there is no surprise here; Ubisoft announced even earlier that the next chapter of the adventures of Desmond Miles will be connected precisely with the theme of the “end of the world”, and we will have to prevent it, how, again, is unknown. In addition, it became known that according to the established canons of the series, the game will alternate two storylines, one for the inimitable Desmond Miles, the second for Flavia Auditore, the grown daughter of Ezio Auditore, who dedicated her life to the cause of the Assassins and revenge for the murder of her father. The plot will take Flavia to different parts of the globe, including Rome, Florence, Istanbul, the Holy Land and China – the main open location. The plot will be directly related to the Chinese assassin Shao Yun, familiar to fans of the universe from the short cartoon "Assassin’s Creed: Embers". It is not surprising that the developers decided to take such a step as changing the gender of the main character, because the proprietary gameplay has begun to become seriously “boring” and requires at least a “refreshment”, and changing the main playable character to an elegant girl comes in handy here. It’s up to you to believe the rumors or not, and we will wait for official confirmation or denial.
The third part is three times more
The third part of Assassin’s Creed will be the biggest game in the series. The game will introduce a new assassin who will replace the two main characters in the series since 2009.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has high hopes for the new game series.
“Assassin’s Creed is an incredible franchise with high expectations from players. We are very pleased with this success, which also reflects the strong demand for our games,” says the director. “We think that by regularly creating new games and expanding the brand to new platforms, we will be able to meet demand and attract new fans.”.
“And we are confident that the next Assassin’s Creed series will be the biggest game to date.”.
Ubisoft has a lot planned for 2012. Last year, the company was ranked second in the list of publishers in Europe and won second place for the best-selling game in the US – Just Dance 3.
“We are fighting with EA and Activision, of course,” added Guillem. "If we continue to work to create quality games and recruit talented developers, I am confident that we will become number 1".

Oh Shit
NuboSoft and first place? They probably live in a bunker and don’t know that there is Valve, CD Project RED, Rockstar, EA, the same Blizzard and a bunch of all kinds of game manufacturers for every taste. And quite high quality. Well, at least without idiotic defenses.

And I would be interested to see St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg midshipmen)
Flavia Auditore – the grown-up daughter of Ezio Auditore, who dedicated her life to the cause of the Assassins and revenge for the murder of her father.
Apparently I didn’t catch up, but at the end of the revival Ezio doesn’t die, so why the hell does she need to take revenge for his death and, most importantly, who??
There is an opinion that Ezio was killed in Embers, or whatever this film is, I didn’t watch it, but judging by the description, he was cut off.
We hope that a poster will appear soon, followed by a trailer, and then a gameplay video… Oh, we’ve been waiting for Revelatinons 🙂

a lot of letters, but interesting..
The army of developers led by Alex Hutchinson continues to advance. Recently, representatives of the publishing house Ubisoft openly stated that the third part of the Assassin’s Creed series intends to become the most “pre-ordered” game in the entire history of their company.
It turned out that in terms of the number of reserved copies, Assassin’s Creed 3 significantly exceeds all previous games in the series. In just over three weeks, exactly ten times more gamers signed up for the project than Revelations for the same period of time. If we compare the new product with Brotherhood, in terms of pre-orders it has left its ancestor from the year before last far behind. And this, as the publisher suggests, is just the beginning.
Pre-orders seem to have been sorted out. So let’s move on. In a recent interview with PlayStation Blog, Assassin’s Creed 3 creative director Alex Hutchinson sincerely confessed his love for his new project. According to the developer, his team takes the matter very seriously. Especially when it comes to the half-breed Connor Kenway. It became known that Ubisoft Montreal hired a consultant from among the indigenous people of North America to work on Assassin’s Creed 3. Hutchinson believes that without the help of the Indians, the game’s protagonist will not be able to reach his potential. In the aforementioned interview, the creative director revealed that Connor was Native American from the start. Like, the developers didn’t even think about making him a British soldier or a true patriot. Therefore, in order to complete the assigned tasks, the main character will speak in the voice of a real Mohawk. All the developers want is for the newly minted assassin to feel at home in the wild the same way Altair and Ezio feel in the city.
"We want him to look like a predator. Therefore, Connor will be able to use two weapons at the same time [for the first time in the entire series]. He will have a tomahawk in one hand and a knife or blade hidden in his sleeve in the other, Hutchinson says. – In general, Assassin’s Creed 3 will have a lot of new weapons and gadgets. If you’ve seen The Last of the Mohicans, you’ll probably be able to see some similarities between the game and the movie.". It’s worth noting here that the combat system in Assassin’s Creed 3 will be very different from what we saw in previous games in the series. Starting with controls and the buttons responsible for them on the gamepad and ending with enemies, strategy and tactics.
Well, since we’re talking about controls, you’ll probably be interested to know what the developers think about the PC version. “We support personal computers as a platform. We love PC. But I think that for Assassin’s Creed 3 you will need a gamepad,” the creative director of the project said in a conversation with RPS. – I don’t see the point in wasting my energy on a keyboard and mouse. If you prefer to play Assassin’s Creed on personal computers, you probably already have a joystick.". A little later, Ubisoft indirectly confirmed Hutchinson’s words, stating that in terms of control in the PC version of the game nothing will change. In other words, everything will remain the same.
Let us remind you that the release of Assassin’s Creed 3 is scheduled for October 31st. At the moment, the date is valid for all three target platforms – PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Back in early March, select members of the online and print press were treated to an exclusive 10-minute demo of Assassin’s Creed III gameplay, codenamed Target Gameplay Footage. TGF featured several different gameplay scenes designed to demonstrate to journalists Ubisoft’s increased ambitions and its desire to create the biggest game in the series in the company’s history.
This preview is a compilation of the most informative articles from the foreign online press, for which the ban on publishing materials on the long-awaited third part of Assassin’s Creed was lifted yesterday evening, and also complements the translation of an article from the April issue of Game Informer magazine already published on our website.
So, as many already know, the main protagonist of Assassin’s Creed III is called Connor Kenway, whose native name Ratohnhake:ton ("Radunageido") literally translates as "living spirit". Connor, or "friend of the wolves", became a member of the Order of Assassins in 1700 for a currently unknown reason (the developers have remained silent about this important plot twist for now). Indian origin and the inherited wisdom of his ancestors makes the main character a friend of nature and a defender of justice, he respects animals and is endowed with the talents of a born hunter.
At the beginning of the TGF demo, Connor with calm ease makes his way through the forest, jumps on tree branches, climbs steep cliffs (it is very important to note here that real climbing professionals took part in the creation of the animation of the new assassin). As Connor leaps from the trees to the snow-covered ground, each of his next steps leaves a realistic footprint; this new feature of the environment (responsiveness to the actions of the main character and all NPCs) has a direct impact on the entire gameplay and, in particular, allows you to track an animal or other target.
Moving through trees is much more convenient and safer than on the ground. As soon as Connor walked a few meters in the snow, a huge black bear suddenly appeared. The scene of the instant killing of an animal with one blow of a hidden blade looked so stunningly plausible that the journalists watching the demonstration gasped in surprise. The sophisticated press hasn’t seen anything like this for a long time! Perhaps ordinary gamers will also have the chance to witness this scene, but this will most likely not happen before the E3 conference, for which Ubisoft developers have already prepared a 10-minute presentation, including a scene in the forest, a visit to Boston and participation in the Battle of Bunker Hill.
Having dealt with the bear, Connor continued on his way through the forest. He reached a sheer cliff and began climbing to the top, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area. This view has become even more exciting in Assassin’s Creed III thanks to a new minimalist approach to the interface display: the amount of health, mini-map and weapons are now placed in one corner, in the style of Grand Theft Auto.
Suddenly, the atmosphere of a meditative mood is interrupted by the noise of drums coming from below. Directly below Connor, a line of American soldiers is marching along a dirt road, followed by a supply wagon. Obeying an inner impulse, the assassin takes a so-called “leap of faith into the disguised crowd,” a new gameplay element that, according to the developers, is damn difficult to implement in practice. Connor himself is unlikely to drive the carts, but such vans are perfect for cover and ambush. Meanwhile, the camera zooms out to show a view of Boston, one of the main cities in the game Assassin’s Creed III.
Boston and New York are the two main places that the new protagonist of the series will be able to visit. It’s worth noting that Ubisoft experimented with Philadelphia early on, but they ultimately decided that the wide, straight streets of the quiet city didn’t quite suit the sandbox setting of Assassin’s Creed III. However, Philadelphia will be home to important events in the history of the American Revolution, and in some ways we will be able to look at the prototype of one of the most populous cities in America.
Speaking of urban populations. Assassin’s Creed III creative director Alex Hutchinson says: "We wanted to achieve two main goals with the crowd. First, no one should repeat each other’s movements… everyone on stage should have their own goal, any NPC should be unique… Second, people should notice you and each other. Now no one will pass by looking like he is alone in the whole world. We wanted to solve this really difficult problem because we all know, for example, what people do if you get too close to them. In a crowd we see all the subtleties of human behavior. Even if someone suddenly drops something, we want other characters around, driven by the new artificial intelligence system, to be able to try to steal it, interact with it, and many other different options that together make the crowd around you alive and believable.". What else can be added to such a promising comment?? Is it just the fact that Assassin’s Creed III will feature children and dogs for the first time in the series?. For obvious reasons, children will not be able to be killed, and dogs will even be useful, helping to track the target in certain missions.
A sightseeing tour of Boston is interrupted by a sudden encounter with a post of British soldiers guarding the surrounding area. Recognizing a familiar face, the soldiers raised the alarm. Instead of fighting, Connor pushed his enemies aside and began to run. He skillfully jumps over trade shops, moves along tree branches, and avoids carts. Finally, breaking away from his pursuers, Connor climbs the church tower and looks into the distance. Smoke billows in the sky, reminiscent of a brutal war..
The final part of the demo takes place in 1775, during the Battle of Bunker Hill, one of the most significant in the history of the American Revolution. Connor’s mission is to kill a British general, which is a fairly simple task for an assassin, if you don’t take into account 2,000 enemy soldiers armed with muskets. The main character has no choice but to rush into battle along with the American forces. Connor waits for the fire strike and then runs to the next cover while the enemies waste precious time reloading their muskets (which at the time had more disadvantages than advantages).
Finally, the assassin gets into the enemy camp. And from this moment on, the new combat system of Assassin’s Creed III is demonstrated to journalists in all its glory. Fast, smooth, powerful, well-animated barrage of blows rains down on the British soldiers. Connor hooks one of his opponents with his new weapon called the Shengbiao (Rope Dart, nothing more than a dart attached to a rope), climbs a tree, swings over a branch, and hangs the victim, using his body as a counterweight for a soft landing. In the early stages, the developers did not even hesitate to add brutality to the combat system, allowing Connor to scalp his victims; however, it was decided to abandon this idea, since according to historical research, the assassin’s native tribe never actually had scalping in their practice. 1-0 in favor of historical accuracy.
And now, the time has come for the last forced march, Connor needs to get to his goal in the British camp undetected. Having decided to refresh the stealth component of the game, the developers came up with special zones in which the main character automatically crouches to the ground and stays close to cover. In these zones, the assassin can begin an uninterrupted chain of murders on the way to his goal. Which looks really amazing. Thus, the British general is killed, mission accomplished.
Finally, another main conclusion that the game developers made from their accumulated experience is that people like realistic cut scenes and interesting dialogues. To this end, in certain places in the plot, the game’s characters will speak their native Mohawk language (an interesting fact is that Connor is voiced by a representative of the indigenous people of America), which adds depth to the story and makes you believe in the action unfolding on the screen. The number of "bones" in the characters’ faces has been doubled, and coupled with high-resolution facial textures will give a huge range of expressions to the characters’ facial expressions.
Now we are even more eagerly awaiting the E3 conference, at which, in addition to the described video from the game, the developers of Assassin’s Creed III promise to demonstrate a fully evolved multiplayer.
